Competition Registration Instructions    

Before you begin this process, please make sure you have at least version 7 of Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer.  Click to download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

NOTE:  Each dancer must complete their own set of forms and pay their registration fees in order for registration to be valid!  Please be sure to complete a separate Competition Registration Form and Payment Form for each competitor.

Step 1:  Complete the Competition Registration Form
The Registration From contains specific instructions.  Be sure to indicate the name of your dance partner(s) where indicated.

1. Complete the form.
2. Print out a copy of your completed registration form to use in calculating your registration fee on the Payment Form.
3. Save the form to your desktop and attach it to an email to register@caldancechamp.com.
4. Bring a copy of your completed Registration Form with you to the competition. 

Step 2:  Complete the Payment Form

1. Go the Payment Form to calculate your total amount due.  Calculate your cost for competition registration in the top section, and your cost for dinner tickets, evening show tickets, and additional competition spectator tickets in the bottom section.
2. Print a copy of the Payment Form and bring it with you to the competition.
3. Save the form to your desktop and attach it to an email to register@caldancechamp.com. 
4. Bring a copy of your completed Payment Form with you to the competition.

Step 4:  Come to the Competition
Bring your completed Registration Form, your Payment Forms, and Google's receipt for payment with you to the event. Your packet and competition number will be waiting for you at Registration. Name lists for both the competition and the show will be at the door showing the number of entrance tickets you've purchased.

Step 5:  Enjoy yourself!

Ordering Spectator Tickets    

To order spectator tickets for the competition, tickets to the onsite buffet Chinese dinner, or tickets to our fabulous evening show, simply skip Step 1 above, then follow the rest of the instructions starting with Step 2. Prices are listed on the Payment Form. You may order as many additional spectator tickets, dinner tickets, and show tickets at a time as you wish. Order all your tickets early and save!

Registration Checklist

Have you:

1. Completed both Registration and Payment Forms
2. Printed them for your records and to bring to competition
3. Attached them both in an email to register@caldancechamp.com
4. Sent payment using Google Checkout

Registration and Notes   

• Online registration ends October 10, 2008!  Please be sure to register before that date.  Register before September 18, 2008, and take advantage of our Early Bird prices!  See Payment Form for pricing details. Register early and save!
  
  
• Except as noted for International Graded Standard and Latin, male couples, female couples, and reverse-role couples will compete against each other in each event. Go to Rules for details of competition definitions and rules.
  
  
• We ask that you please register in advance for all the dances you wish to enter.  Although we will allow additional registrations at the event, onsite rates are higher.  Advance registration will help your event organizers ensure a smooth and timely flow.
  
  
• If you would prefer not to register electronically, please print out both the Competition Registration Form and the Payment Form. Each competitor must complete both forms. Mail the forms, along with a check payable to Bay Area Dance for the total amount due, to 1726A Hearst Ave., Berkeley, CA 94705.  Forms and payment must be received by Oct 11, 2008.
