Thank you all for making April Follies 2010 the biggest and best ever! We know we say this every year, but every year is, indeed, bigger and better than the last. We were thrilled by the numbers of dancers, the quality of the dancing, the fabulous energy, and the excitement and fun we've all come to love about our same-sex competitions. April Follies 2010 competition results have been posted! ______________________________________ Dancing in the River City: January, 2011, Sacramento NEWS FLASH: April Follies 2011 has been authorized by NASSPDA to host the United States Same-Sex National Championships!!! April Follies is delighted and honored to have been selected by NASSPDA as the site of the first ever NASSPDA U.S. National Championships. We have long been thrilled to offer the California State Championship titles and will offer both in 2011. Awarding the U.S. titles to our winners will give just recognition to the extraordinary quality of April Follies competitors. The organization our community created two and a half years ago is thriving! The member-elected Board you elected to create the North American Same-Sex Partner Dance Association (with the almost unpronouncable acronym NASSPDA) has created policies, procedures, and a dynamite social networking website. The Board will soon release competition rules and policies designed to ensure consistency, inclusion, and fairness in North American same-sex competition. NASSPDA will play an instrumental role in creating the competition events for Gay Games 2014 in Cleveland, OH. Check out nasspda.org for a list of other member benefits.
