Registration Instructions
Before you begin this process, please make sure you have at least version 6 of Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer. Click to download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (it's free).
NOTE: Each dancer must (1) complete and submit a Competition Registration form and (2) pay their registration fees in order for registration to be valid.
Step 1: Open the Competition Registration Form. Before filling out the form, please save it on your computer! Make a note of where you save it so you can find it later.
Step 2: Complete the Registration Form. The form contains specific instructions. You will need at least version 6 of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Be sure to indicate the name of your dance partner(s) and all other information where requested on the form.
First save the form as a PDF file on your computer's hard drive. Be sure to make note of where you save it so you can find it later.
Complete the form that you have saved on your computer. Make note of the numbers of dance events calculated at the top of page 3.
Attach a copy of your saved registration form to an email and send it directly to register@aprilfollies.com. (If you have difficulty with this step, you can print out a copy of your completed form and mail it to April Follies, 1726A Hearst Ave., Berkeley, CA 94703.)
Important: There is a release form on the 3rd page of the Registration Form. If you haven't submitted a signed copy prior to the competition, the Release Form will be waiting for your signature when you check in at the competition on April 28.
Print out a copy of your completed registration form to use in calculating your registration fee below and also to bring with you to the competition.
Step 3: Use one of the two purchase options below to make your registration payment. Special note: Line dances are free! Don't include them in your totals.
Student Discount!! Anyone under 18 or under 25 with a student ID is eligible for half-price daytime spectator tickets and 25% off competition registration fees! Before making payment, please call us a415-971-0410 or email us at register@aprilfollies.com to arrange for your discount.
Option 1: Enter the number of one-dance, multi-dance, and graded events separately. Make sure to include the $10 required competitor entrance fee (the first item on the list below). Early Bird pricing ends March 18.
Option 2: Purchase an all-you-can-dance competitor entrance for $60 ($50 if you're a NASSPDA member!). This price includes the required $10 Entrance Fee. NOTE: Choose only one of the 2 options below. Early Bird pricing ends March 18.

This payment is NOT tax-deductible.
Be sure to purchase dinner and show tickets as well.
Step 4: Come to the Competition
Bring a copy of your completed Registration Form and Google's receipt for payment with you to the event. Your packet, competition number, and all tickets you ordered will be waiting for you at Registration. Name lists for both the competition and the show will be at the door showing the number of entrance tickets you've purchased.

Registration Notes
Competition registration ends April 22, 2012. Be sure to register before that date. Register before March 18, 2012, and take advantage of our Early Bird prices! Register early and save!
Except as noted for International and American Graded events, male couples, female couples, and reverse-role couples will compete against each other in each event. Go to Rules for details of competition definitions and rules.
Please register in advance for all the dances you wish to enter. Advance registration will help your event organizers ensure a smooth and timely flow.
If you would prefer not to register electronically, please print out the Competition Registration Form (one for each competitor) and mail your forms, along with a check payable to Bay Area Dance for the total amount due, to 1726A Hearst Ave., Berkeley, CA 94703. Forms and payment must be received by April 22, 2012.

Showcase of Champions - $25. Includes beginning group lessons 6:30-7:30 PM. Ballroom opens 6:30 PM. Showcase of Champions begins 8 PM. [Will be $30 at the door--and will likely sell out!]
Combo Special: Competition Spectator + Showcase of Champions - $30 [Will be $35 after March 20 and $40 at the door]
Please note that tickets will not be mailed to you. All tickets will be available at Will Call on the day of the event in the name of the person who purchased them.
